Spring has sprung!

This past (snowy, cold, horribly long) winter, Casa Sorelle participated in two wedding shows as vendors. Honestly, as our first professional show, the set up was very stressful. Luckily, experience is the mother of invention and with two wedding shows under our belt, booth set up is now second nature to us!

We tried out a few different sample methods too. After our first day and with some trial and error, we found our display balance of individual paper cups vs large dipping trays. From a marketing point of view, it was invaluable research.

Overall, it was a great experience not just for showcasing our extra virgin olive oil but also for directing us toward our niche. Women love our product! So hat’s off ladies, you have great taste! Our new smaller bottle was also a big hit. The positive feedback made us very happy we decided to expand our product line to include a celebration size. We also recently supplied olive oil to our second wedding client and feel really privileged to be part of such a meaningful life event.

The health benefits alone make extra virgin olive oil a great gift – especially for foodies in your life or for those folks who can’t drink wine.  With the wedding shows now over, we kept up the business development momentum. We have been working on our shopify site for ages and we have a drop date of April 27th.

This big step has been a long time in coming. We had fantastic help from our website developer Margaret. She has been very generous with her time and very patient as we tackled our online commerce education. There was just so much to learn about ecommerce from small details like the font size to trying to sort out preferred payment options. We are in the home stretch now! Thanks Margaret! xxx
